Initial Setup - Creating a Hotelier Account

You have made a great choice.  Go to http://www.bedandbreakfasts.es/

Click <B&B Hotel Owners Advertise Here> from the left hand pane.

Enter the details requested about you and your business and click <Submit>

You have now created a http://www.bedandbreakfasts.es Hotelier Account.  There are several sections within this.  We will look at each of these individually.

Hotelier Account Functionality - My Account - My Profile

This is the Hotelier Start Page.  Scroll down it gives an overview on your account from which you can get to all areas of the site. Options include <My Listings>, <My Credits>, <My Transactions>, <My Traffic>, <My Profile>, <My Suppliers> etc.

Hover over <My Account> and select <My Profile>

My Profile is displayed

From “My Profile” you can edit your Name, Email Address, Password, the Languages you wish to communicate in, and your Corporations status etc.

Note:  You cannot edit Username

To demonstrate we will change the Password Enter Current Password and a New Password and click <Submit>

Hotelier Account Functionality - My Listings - Create a Listing

Click My Listings, from here you can create and edit your listings.

You do not yet have any Listings.  So Click <Add a Listing>

Add the requested details into the form provided.

Enter a description.  Click <Browse> and locate an image.  Click <Submit>

Your listing is displayed.  Congratulations!
You are returned to My Listings
From here you can <Edit Listing><Delete Listing><Map Edit>

Hotelier Account Functionality - My Listings – Edit Listing

Click <Edit Listing>

You are returned to the previous Edit Screen.  From here you can amend your listings and also change your photograph.

Also note there is an additional Status Drop Down Box. Should all your rooms be booked you can change this from "Online" to "Offline Suspended" When this is set to "Offline Suspended" your property will not appear in the results and thus you will conserve credits. Do not forget to set it back to Online.

Hotelier Account Functionality - My Listings – Delete

Click <Delete Listing>

Note:  If you do delete a property your credits still remain as they were leaving you to enter another property or re enter the original property details.

My Listings - Free For Life

Free for life involves creating 1 link from your website to one of the pages on http://www.bedandbreakfasts.es In return we give you FREE advertising for life.

Select My Listings and hover over it and click <Free For Life>

Click Edit Back Links

Create the backlink on your website and enter the "Webpage on your site with link back to us" and click submit.

Hotelier Account Functionality - My Traffic

In another window I have searched Hotel La Pineda to simulate a user utilising a credit
User clicks on Hotel La Pineda from either 100 top towns, or via a search engine.

Scroll Down to Hotel La Pineda or Click View Summary which will Auto Scroll Down To Hotel La Pineda.

I click the “Link to website” (mimicking a user which counts as a credit)

Now I return to My Account and click “My Traffic”

The credit use is now displayed

Note:  The “Suggested Number of Credits for 1 Years Traffic is a calculated indicator of how many credits you will require based upon forecasted credit use. So in this case 1 credit has been used in 1 month thus 12 Credits would be required. (Obviously only 1 day of the month has so far been accounted for, but after a month this is a very accurate representation)
